Peer Tutoring and Shadow Teaching

As with any SABIS^® school , here at the International School of Choueifat- Egypt we are firm believers that if we empower students with the knowledge and tools necessary they can run the school. Regularly, our students are selected to “shadow teach” which means that they prepare a lesson in a certain subject and then go into the class and teach it to the other students. In this manner, students will get another perspective on the topics being taught. In addition, any student in danger of failing a certain subject is paired up with another student of the same age group to be tutored. We believe that we cannot leave any child to “fail in peace”.
